Fresh, bright website blooms for Weymouth florist
Having been in the flower business for over 25 years, Sarah Standland knew that she needed an attractive, easy to use website that allowed people to see what was on offer and to place orders without any hassle.
After a bad experience with her first website designer, the owner of Pygmalion Florist came to Digibug, where she was overwhelmed by the flexibility and capability of the small team.
“I got exactly the look and feel that I wanted for my website,” said Sarah. The site, launched in May this year, includes ecommerce capability which allows customers to order bouquets online.
It is also linked to the florist’s Facebook page, where her customers can get up-to-date information about workshops she’s running, and exchange comments and opinions. Sarah also makes use of LinkedIn and Twitter, further promoting her business through social media.
Working with Digibug restored Sarah’s faith in website designers. Talking of Digibug Director Paul Weeks, she said: “Paul’s very approachable, patient and accommodating. He goes out of his way to help.”
The Pygmalion Florist website is built using a content management system, allowing Sarah to add new products and pages as she needs them. This lets her grow her site as she grows her business.
