Digibug to present at Open 4 Business

We’re really excited about being asked to help present an Open4Business seminar next month.
Called “Social Media, the web, the cloud, and you!”, it’s all about, well, the stuff in the title.
The seminar is open to anyone who runs a business locally and it’s completely free. It’s in a fantastic venue - the new Weymouth fire station.
We’re going to be squeezing a huge amount into just two hours, and that’s all three speakers. The Digibug slot, where we get to talk about what “the web” can do for you, is going to be squeezed into just 20 minutes. Talk about getting a quart into a pint pot!
The other speakers are Andrew Knowles, who specialises in social media and writing for businesses, and Stephanie Pettitt, who set up Equation Accounting.
That’s an exciting combination, even without Digibug. Social media and cloud computing are big, big issues in business at the moment and you ignore them at your peril. We’ve taken this message to heart, which is why you’re seeing more activity on the @digibug Twitter and on our Facebook page.
We know this seminar, which is on 4 October at 10am, is going to be packed out. Andrew recently led a Twitter workshop which people were queuing to get into. Stephanie’s business has won awards, and she’s built it on innovative use of technology.
As for Digibug, well, our clients tell us we do a great job and we’re getting a lot more enquiries. So we must be doing something right!
For more information about the seminar, visit the Open4Business website or get in touch with us. It’s on 4 October, 10am until midday, at the Weymouth Community Fire Safety Centre on Radipole Lane, where there’s free parking. Remember to book early!
